How to apply for a Psychology degreeApplications for Master of Psychology (Counselling), Master of Psychology (Educational & Developmental) and Postgraduate Diploma of Psychology close on 31 October each year.
Note: If you wish to apply for any other postgraduate degree in the Faculty of Education, please see How to apply for a postgraduate course. Step 1 - Application (by 31 October)
Step 2 - For the Master degrees only: Confidential referee reports (by 5 November)Within 10 days of submitting the online application, or no later than 5 November, applicants must submit the following forms directly to the Clayton Faculty Office:
Please ensure your application is complete and all documentation is submitted on time. Incomplete applications cannot be considered. Step 3 - For the Master degrees only: Short listing (mid-November)
Step 4 - For the Master degrees only: Selection interviews (mid-November - early December)Step 5 - First round offersFor the Master degrees only: First round offers are mailed out by early December. Applicants are asked to respond within two weeks of receiving their offer. For the Postgraduate Diploma only: First round offers are mailed out by mid November. Applicants are asked to respond within two weeks of receiving their offer Step 6 - Second round offers (late December - mid-January)
