Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary Teaching

If you already have a degree, a Master of Teaching or Graduate Diploma of Education can qualify you to become a teacher.

When you become an educator, you become a manager, instructor, counsellor, mentor and carer. Teaching is a challenging and rewarding career that will give you a chance to engage with and nurture others. You can see your students develop and grow and see their lives transform through your supervision and guidance. You can make a real difference.

A Graduate Diploma of Education allows you to apply and extend existing knowledge and share it with others. It is a one year intensive program and provides you with the skills and knowledge to become a teacher after one year of study.

The new Master of Teaching courses incorporate a Graduate Diploma of Teaching and depth units which provide you with a deep understanding of teaching practice and research.  You can choose from Early Childhood, Primary or Secondary and study on-campus, off-campus and in accelerated or standard mode.
