Course Fees

Most Local/Australian students enrol in Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP) and all other students, Australian or International, pay full fees.

CSP fees (Student Contribution Amount) for Local/Australian students

Students in a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) pay a proportion of the cost of their course and the government funds the balance. The portion that a student pays is the Student Contribution Amount (SCA).

The units which make up a course are classified into bands and the SCA will be determined by the band(s) in which the units are located. Further information on the bands and how to calculate the SCA can be found on the Fees Unit website.

Australian citizens and Humanitarian Permanent Resident visa holders can pay the Student Contribution Amount upfront and get a 20% discount (for payments of $500 or more), make a partial upfront payment or apply for HECS-HELP (previously known as deferring your HECS).

Australian permanent residents and New Zealand citizens have to pay upfront with no discount.
