HDR Consultations

Dr Raqib Chowdhury and Dr Anna Podorova offer FREE academic English language consultations on thesis writing to individual students. In these sessions we can work with you on different strategies to critically consider your topic and write academically.

It is important to note that we are not a proofreading service, but rather we discuss your topic and guide you in organising and writing your thesis. While you may send your work (no more than a chapter at a time) for us to view before an appointment, we are not available to look at your work and send it back without an appointment. It is also your responsibility to edit your work before it is sent to us.

To make an appointment, please contact or visit either Dr Raqib Chowdhury or Dr Anna Podorova. Individual appointments should be made at least 48 hours in advance. Because we want to assist as many students as possible, for equity reasons, we have to limit individual appointments to 3 per student per semester, unless special circumstances apply.
