How publishing your research in The Conversation can enhance impact
The Conversation (www.theconversation.edu.au) is an independent source of information, analysis and commentary from the university and research sector — written by acknowledged experts and delivered directly to the public.
Launched in March 2011, and enjoying an audience of 2.5 million, The Conversation provides researchers with an opportunity to engage in a safe and trusted environment with Australian and international audiences.
Lisa Watts and Debbie Dickinson will outline how The Conversation can enhance your research impact, and use practical case studies from Monash University authors on their experience writing for The Conversation.
Lisa Watts is Commercial Director of The Conversation. She has previously worked as CEO of ArtsHub, the leading news and job site for the creative arts industry. Her commercial career includes four years leading the Mycareer business for Fairfax Digital.
Debbie Dickinson is External Relations Manager of The Conversation. She has run national and international digital media campaigns, including for the Australian Government on the carbon price, and for the UK Government’s UN climate negotiations in Copenhagen.
