Abstract:
Early Childhood Learning Communities provides a rich source of research, theory and practice to support the building of the early childhood profession.
It invites readers to act as researchers themselves and seeks to create an early childhood learning community where the latest research and thinking generate the potential for future research and action. This book aims to shape findings that are important in an evidenced-based approach to pedagogy. Paving the way for more accurate sorting and sifting of research and theoretical writings in early childhood education, this publication draws heavily upon Australian research, sociocultural theory and the principles of Reggio Emilia (Italy).
