TTML Units of work

These activities are intended for use by teachers for research purposes only, as part of the Task Types and Mathematics Learning (TTML) project at Monash University. No authority is granted for persons to use these activities beyond the scope of this project, without express permission of the TTML Project Leader.

These activities will progressively be available for download. Where a hyperlink is evident in the activity header, a Word document with a more detailed description of the eactivity and how it was used, photos, student work samples and analysis is available.

Unit of work on Measurement Chance and Data

Trialled at Timbarra Primary School, 2008 with Grades 5 and 6 students

Weather Project

Recording rainfall and temperature each day for 2 weeks, calculating the average, median and mode and presenting the data in a graph.
