The LPL team welcomes you to the LPL website.
It is designed to support you as a professional learning leader throughout your participation in the LPL program. We will endeavour to make this a central place for you to conveniently access resources and materials that you engage with at the LPL workshops. We will use this site for 'need to know/ have' material for your participation in the program rather than supplying a host of 'nice to know' material, in recognition that your work responsibilities demand much of you all and may preclude leisurely browsing.
We are excited to work with you around your own professional learning and that which you will foster in others.

Program overview
The Leading Professional Learning program is part of the Victoria Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD)’s Learning to Lead Effective Schools strategy and has been designed and delivered by the Faculty of Education, Monash University. The program aims to:
- Develop participants’ knowledge of approaches to foster learning among adult colleagues;
- Develop participants’ understanding of the Department’s Principles of Highly Effective Professional Learning;
- Build participants’ capacity to design, implement and evaluate effective school-based professional learning that supports improved learning and teaching; and
- Develop participants’ ability to successfully lead change initiatives that contribute to the continued growth and development of their school.

Parking
Parking at Bayview Eden is guaranteed for all in-house guests. Please let the parking attendant know if you have a reservation for the evening.
If you have not elected accommodation for this program parking is generally available for all visitors however as the LPL program is a large group, if you do not have accommodation reserved and are able to carpool or take public transport to the venue. There is a $10 charge for parking; if you notify the parking attendant he will charge it to the Monash account.
