Being Digital in Home, School and Community: A cross-cultural study of young people’s engagement with digital technologies in Australia, Greece, Brazil and South Africa and the implications for education

Intrinsic to the project is recognition of the intimate connections between global flows and movements (particularly of information and ideas) the use of new technologies and learning. This comparative study of four countries – Australia, Greece, Brazil and South Africa - promises to shed new light on the ways in which different social contexts contribute to how new technologies are used.
