Research into community

Our interest lies primarily in communities whose form of active social associations are 'face-to-face' and are organized around homes, schools, clubs, organizations and networks. We are very curious about how physical activities, sports and outdoor recreation and active communities are shaped by geographical factors, resource availability and infrastructure, economics of schools and neighbourhoods.
