Arts Education Faculty Research GroupThe Arts Education Faculty Research Group conduct research into arts education across early childhood, primary, secondary, tertiary, and beyond. One of the primary goals of the Arts FRG is to investigate how the provision of the arts in these settings is changing. Theoretical underpinnings of the group include sociocultural perspectives, a/r/tography and critical theory. Methodologically the group draws on a variety of research methodologies including narrative inquiry, ethnography, autoethnography, historical research and phenomenology.
