The Faculty of Education runs a regular seminar series. The aim is to encourage dissemination of research and to create a culture to promote research. These seminars are held on all three campuses of the faculty and are usually scheduled on Wednesdays between 1-2 pm. The seminars are presented by Faculty staff, visiting academics and education professionals and research students.

Conferences

  • Monash Education Research Community (MERC) Annual Conference
The Faculty's own student and staff research community holds an annual conference for all students and staff involved in research activities or programs. The conference presents an opportunity for staff members and research students to get to know more about: the range of educational research that is being carried out across the Faculty; to share academic opinions; offer opportunities for multi-disciplinary collaborative projects; and to provide a supportive environment in which early-career researchers can hone their academic presentation skills.
