Biography

Sue North joined CEET as a full-time research fellow in 2007. Her research is based on literature reviews, primary data collections, secondary analysis of ABS and other data sources, case studies, focus groups and interviews. Her work includes studies of the role of digital technology in the education and wider life experiences of secondary school students, equity funding for students in schools, evaluation of state-wide education programs and student pathways, national mapping of teacher professional learning, and equity and social inclusion in VET and higher education.Sue brings a breadth of experience to her work at CEET as a primary, secondary and tertiary teacher, with a background in communication/media analysis and creative writing. At the tertiary level, her teaching has focused on quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
