Biography

Dr Henderson has ten years experience as a secondary school teacher in urban and rural settings, state and private sectors, in both Queensland and England. He has acted in the role of ICT cross-curricular coordinator and subsequently Head of ICT. These roles included the management of whole-school student and staff laptop schemes, staff training programmes, and supported the integration of what was then innovative technologies such as Interactive Whiteboards, student digital video production, digital games and web enabled teaching strategies. Dr Henderson's interest in school innovation and teachers work has continued with his active membership in ICTEV, QSITE, professional publications, as well as being an invited keynote for several conferences. Dr Henderson has also presented his research at a number of international conferences and published both professional and academic articles in the fields of eLearning and online professional development. Dr Henderson joined Monash University as Lecturer in ICTE in June 2007.
