Biography

Dr. Libby Tudball lectures in pre-service teacher education programs and supervises higher degree research students in the Faculty of Education. She is the Director of Professional Placements and Partnerships in the faculty. Her publications include school curriculum resources, teacher professional learning programs, academic articles and research reports. Her research interests include teacher professional learning and education, the internationalization of education, studies of Asia, social education, civics and citizenship and values education. She has been actively involved nationally and internationally in Australia in developments in Civics and Citizenship Education and Global Education as a writer of curriculum materials, and national facilitator for teacher professional learning and has received national awards for her work. Dr Tudball is the President of the Social Educators Association of Australia (SEAA). She serves on the Board of the Australian Association of Studies of Society and Environment and is a life member of Social Education Victoria. She is an accredited School Reviewer for the Department of Education and Early Childhood in Victoria. She is an active participant in the International Education Advisory committee and the Indigenous Education Focus Group of the Centre for Strategic Education, Melbourne.
