Teaching commitmentBiographyJusten has research experience that utilises an emerging socio-ecological approach to explore problems associated with physical education, sport and lifetime physical activity and wellness, often with a focus on children. His research has been applied to sporting organisations,community recreation, schools and community settings. Justen is currently working on the Connect Hastings Project - a funded project that aims to implement a multi-layered strategy to impact children's independent mobility within the community of Hastings. Areas of expertise include, community based physical activity; physical education pedagogy; skill learning; lifetime physical activity; children and exercise and; community sport programs.
