Monash school review

The Faculty of Education, under contract to the Department of Education Victoria (DE&T), undertakes external reviews of Victorian Primary and Secondary Government schools. DE&T is committed to continuous improvement in the quality of education provided in schools and to ensuring high levels of student achievement. As part of DE&T's school accountability processes, the Monash Faculty of Education School Review team undertake independent reviews that aim to identify the achievements of the school, issues emerging from the information, recommendations for improvement and priorities for inclusion in the next school Charter. This external review facilitates agreement between the school and DE&T regarding the directions to be incorporated in the next school Charter.

Project management plan

To allow for sufficient and comprehensive external and internal communication processes, the project manager, Ms Anita Forsyth, and the project advisory group have developed an internal management process. This process is intended to manage the communication strategy and quality assurance for the Monash school review process.

The management structure ensures that information flow, contractual arrangements and key relationships are managed in an efficient and effective manner. The formal structural links to the operations of the project will allow for immediacy of information distribution, ongoing feedback and continuous improvement to all aspects of the Monash review process.
