It is preferable to receive your application by email.

You will be notified by email and letter of the outcome of your application by 8 May 2009. You will also be contacted if you have been placed on a waiting list or if your application has not been successful. 

Briefing session with successful applicants

Successful applicants will be required to attend a briefing session on 20 May 2009, Peninsula campus, Building A, Level 3, Room 3.50. The following documentation will be required at this time:

  • a copy of your travel insurance document;
  • a completed application for teaching in a remote or rural school from the Monash placements website; and
  • a copy of your WES results. (Official transcripts are not required)
  • a copy of your police check

At the briefing session, you will be advised of further briefing sessions and receive a Maningrida Teaching Folder and Resources.

Payment methods will be detailed in your email/letter of offer.

If you wish to pay one lump sum, you can arrange to be invoiced and pay the total cost on 13 May 2009. The budget is still being prepared. The cost will be around $2,500.

If payments are not made on the due dates then your place will be offered to someone else.
